Announcing the First Priority of Wake County Virtual Charity Race. The event includes 1 mile and 5K virtual race options that you can run (or walk) on your own - outdoors or on a treadmill. 

There are plenty of virtual races right now, but here's what makes this race different:  100% of the registration fees paid by runners to participate will go to First Priority of Wake County. Your participation will help launch more clubs in Wake County next school year, as well as support and help grow the clubs that are already established. 

Do you want to know about a ministry that is reaching 30,000 middle and high school students every week? A ministry that saw over 10,000 students give their life to Christ last school year? Imagine students sharing the Gospel of Christ with other students in a student led club on their school campus or through an online platform. This is First Priority! 

How does it work?  3 Easy Steps:

1. Register any time between July 1st - August 15th.   
2. Go Run the distance you registered for any time between July 1st – August 15th.  You may run outdoors or on a treadmill.  Note:  All current local municipality Stay at Home/Shelter in Place orders allow us to run outdoor (observing Social Distancing guidelines).
3. Submit your time online. Runners submit their run time – this is EASY with our enhanced virtual race website (details below). Or download the new IYR Virtual app to your phone for free and use it to automatically record and upload your time to the race website.

Registration: Virtual 5k - $15 (plus $3.25 processing fee), Virtual 1 Mile Fun Run - $10 (plus $3.25 processing fee)

Door Prizes:  Random winners drawn throughout the event!

Awards:  1st and 2nd place finishers receive a special award!

When you register you will have the opportunity to purchase our Stay Strong swag package which includes a shirt, a rubber bracelet, and a commemorative race bib featuring the #RunnersStayStrong flag.  The swag package costs just $15 and includes shipping to your address (USA only)!

Submitting your run time on the website:

1.  CLICK HERE to go to the race results page, then select the results for your distance (1 mile or 5k).  The ItsYourRace results page for your distance will appear.

2.  Find your name in the results for your distance.  With you name you will see an "Update Time" button.  Click "Update Time".



3.  If you are not currently logged into ItsYourRace, a login window will appear.  Log in using your ItsYourRace user id (probably your email address) and password.  Can't remember ?  Click "Forgot Your Password" to reset.  If you registered multiple people under your own account you will just need to log into your account to update their times.  



4.  Enter your time and click the "Save Your Time" button.  That's it!
